Import, export & formats

How import and export work in Horoptic, including formats and Content Credentials.

Updated October 2026

Import is local-decode first: common formats decode on your machine with no upload. Export renders the final master on the server, with per-platform presets — and every master records a C2PA provenance manifest by default, kept alongside your master rather than embedded in it today. Your cut also exports to OTIO (.otioz) — native in DaVinci Resolve today, in both the free and Studio editions; in Adobe Premiere Pro it opens via Adobe’s OTIO support, which is currently in beta.
